Abstract: Based on the introduction of the working process of the upper and lower material mechanisms of the 3MZ2325A fully automatic tapered roller bearing outer race grinding machine, the reasons for the poor movement of the feeding structure linear guide rail are analyzed. A protective cover is installed on the guide rail to isolate the invasion of dirt, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the upper and lower material manipulator movement.

1. The motion process of the loading and unloading mechanism
The 3MZ2325A fully automatic tapered roller bearing outer race grinding machine adopts a card type loading and unloading mechanism, and simultaneously completes the loading and unloading actions (Figure 1). The loading and unloading robotic arms are connected to the connecting plate, which is fixed to the pushing oil cylinder and completes the telescopic action of the robotic arm through the driving of the pushing oil cylinder. After the workpiece comes down from the feeding channel, the card type loading and unloading robots send the workpiece to the center position (grinding position) of the workpiece. After the workpiece is processed, the card type robotic arm returns. During the return process, the original processed part enters the cutting channel (complete cutting), while the pre processed part enters the card type robotic arm and waits for the next action.

2. Fault analysis and improvement measures
During the use of the 3MZ2325A grinding machine, it was found that when the telescopic oil cylinder drives the connecting plate and the loading and unloading manipulator to move up and down on the guide rail, the movement is not smooth, and in severe cases, it may stagnate or become stuck. The analysis reason is that when the workpiece is sent to the grinding area, the grinding wheel rotates and follows up, and the coolant is turned on. At this time, the upper half of the guide rail is exposed, and is corroded by splashing coolant and abrasive particles falling off the grinding wheel. The grinding wheel debris, iron filings, and alkali stains will adhere to the working surface of the guide rail, damaging the movement trajectory of the slider in the connecting plate (thick solid line in Figure 1), and hindering its normal movement.
Therefore, create a rectangular groove with a length greater than the length of the exposed guide rail, and connect it to the connecting plate with screws (Figure 2) to prevent the high-pressure spraying coolant, mixed grinding wheel debris, and iron debris from entering the guide rail, providing insulation and protection, ensuring the normal operation of the robotic arm and the smooth operation of the linear bearing.

3 Conclusion
After taking protective measures, the use effect is good, reducing the failure rate of the loading and unloading mechanisms, improving the stability and reliability of the equipment, making its cyclic action compact and smooth, and achieving high work efficiency.
